HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL

Directions to Hotel Regina

Because of its central location, Hotel Regina is the ideal starting point for exploring Vienna by foot. The State Opera, Stephansdom (cathedral), and the Hofburg Palace, as well as many other impressive sights, are reachable within walking distance. Just 200 meters away you’ll find the metro station “Schottentor” (line U2) and the bus line 1A.

From the Westbahnhof (train station) to Hotel Regina:
(with pulic transportation)

• Take metro line U3 towards “Simmering” and get off at “Volkstheater” station. Transfer to metro line U2 towards “Seestadt” and ride two stations to “Schottentor”. Then take the exit “Schottentor/Universität” and immediately take the way up called “Währingerstrasse”. From there, you can see Hotel Regina directly in front of you and you only have to walk through the park.

From the Hauptbahnhof (main station) to Hotel Regina:

• Take metro line U1 towards "Leopoldau" and get off at "Karlsplatz" station. Transfer to metro line U2 towards "Seestadt" and ride two stations to "Schottentor". Then take the exit "Schottentor/Universität" and immediatly the the way up called "Währingerstrasse". From there, you can see Hotel Regina directly in front of you and you only have to walk through the park.

From Vienna Airport to Hotel Regina:

• Take the rapid transit railway S7 (departing every 30 minutes) to “Landstraße Wien Mitte”. From there, take metro line U4 towards “Heiligenstadt”, and ride until “Schottenring” station. Then change to line U2 towards “Karlsplatz” and take one station to “Schottentor”. Exit towards “Schottentor/Universität”and immediately thereafter take the staircase with a sign that says “Währingerstrasse". From there, you can see Hotel Regina directly in front of you.
• Take the airport bus "VAL2" (departing every 20 minutes) to “Morzinplatz/Schwedenplatz”. Then take the tram 1 direction "Stefan-Fadinger-Platz" and get off at "Schottentor". Now, you can already see the Hotel Regina.
• Take CAT (City Airport Train; departing every 30 minutes) to “Landstraße Wien Mitte”. From there, take metro line U4 towards “Heiligenstadt” and ride until “Schottenring” station. Then change to metro line U2 towards “Karlsplatz” and ride one station to “Schottentor”. Then take the exit “Schottentor/Universität” and immediately take the staircase with the sign “Währingerstrasse”. From there, you can see Hotel Regina directly in front of you.
